How to Wash and Maintain Your Pillow

How to Wash and Maintain Your Pillow

The Snorinator is a sleep solution designed to help reduce snoring, alleviate discomfort, and improve overall sleep quality. With its unique ergonomic design, the Snorinator promotes an upright sleeping position that can help keep airways open, reduce acid reflux, and provide essential support to your neck and back.

At the heart of this innovation is the patented High Fowler position, a technique that elevates your upper body to encourage better breathing and blood circulation while you sleep. Combined with the CertiPUR-US® certified memory foam, which ensures a safe and supportive experience, the Snorinator is crafted to help you achieve a more peaceful and restorative night’s sleep.

Why Pillow Maintenance Matters

Given the advanced technology and design that go into the Snorinator, maintaining its quality and longevity is essential. That’s why proper care and cleaning are important to ensure your pillow continues to provide the benefits it’s designed for. And, as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your sleep experience, we’re excited to announce that we’re now offering additional Snorinator Fitted Pillowcases! These cool-to-the-touch, custom-fit pillowcases have been long-awaited by our customers and are the perfect complement to your Snorinator, making it easier than ever to keep your pillow fresh and clean.

The Snorinator’s high-density memory foam is designed to last, but like any high-quality product, it requires regular maintenance to keep it in top condition. Over time, pillows can accumulate dust, sweat, and other particles that can affect both comfort and hygiene. By properly caring for your Snorinator, you can extend its life and continue to enjoy the benefits of better sleep for years to come.

How to Wash and Maintain Your Snorinator

Washing the Fitted Pillowcase

The Snorinator Fitted Pillowcase is designed with convenience in mind. Made from a soft-touch, moisture-wicking fabric, this pillowcase is both comfortable and easy to care for. The material, a hybrid of semi-synthetic fibers and cooling nylon, promotes breathability while keeping your pillow protected. When it’s time to clean, simply remove the pillowcase and toss it in the washing machine. Here’s how to do it:

  • Remove the Pillowcase: Gently stretch the open end of the pillowcase over the top of the Snorinator, starting at the Head Nest™ (the two hinged upper cushions). Pull it downward until it’s fully removed.
  • Machine Wash: Wash the pillowcase in cold water on a gentle cycle to preserve the fabric’s integrity and cooling properties.
  • Air Dry: For best results, air dry the pillowcase to maintain its elasticity and fit. Avoid using high heat, as it can damage the fabric.
  • Reapply the Pillowcase: To put the pillowcase back on, follow the reverse steps. Start by aligning the seams with the edges of the Head Nest™ and gently pull it down, securing the elastic straps around the corners of the pillow.

Maintaining the Snorinator Pillow

The Snorinator pillow itself is designed to be low-maintenance, but a few simple steps can help keep it in optimal condition:

  • Spot Cleaning: If you notice any spots or stains on the memory foam, use a clean cloth with mild detergent and water to gently dab the affected area. Avoid soaking the pillow or using harsh chemicals, as this can damage the foam.
  • Regular Airing: To keep your Snorinator fresh, allow it to air out regularly. This can help dissipate any odors and keep the foam breathable. Simply remove the pillowcase and place the pillow in a well-ventilated area for a few hours.
  • Protect from Moisture: Memory foam is sensitive to moisture, so it’s important to keep your Snorinator dry. If the pillow does get wet, allow it to air dry completely before using it again. Never place memory foam in the washing machine or dryer.
  • Replace When Needed: While the Snorinator is built to last, memory foam does naturally degrade over time. If you notice that the pillow is no longer providing the same level of support or comfort, it might be time to replace it. However, with proper care, your Snorinator should maintain its integrity for years and years.
